Transitioning to Middle School
To assist all incoming fifth graders with "need to know scheduling information" as well as Karrer-specific details for transitioning to Middle School, we have created this Karrer 5th to 6th grade webpage.
Please take time as a family to review the information provided on events, how to schedule your classes and how to select a music class.

Music Fitting for Rising 6th Grade
Band: Students interested in participating in the band should attend an instrument fitting on one of the following dates.

Tuesday, Feb. 3 - Coffman High School, 4-7 p.m. (MS Band Fittings)

Orchestra: Students interested in participating in the orchestra should attend the instrument fitting on Monday, Feb. 2, at Davis Middle School from 5-7:30 pm. Orchestra fittings are open house style, and sign-up is not necessary.
If you cannot go to Davis on February 2, please visit the Orchestra website for all the details at https://rocksorchestras.
Choir: Voice placement and auditions are not required; just sign up on your course selection sheet!
