Athletic Trainer

Mike Eddington joined the OhioHealth Sports Medicine team in 2013, serving as an
AT in the school setting as well as in occupational medicine and sports medicine
physician offices. Prior to OhioHealth, Mike spent a number of years as an injury
prevention consultant for multiple companies in Central Ohio and also spent time
working with the Columbus Blue Jackets and Columbus Destroyers. Mike completed his undergraduate education in Sports Medicine and Public Health at Ohio Northern University. Mike currently has a daughter in college and a son in high school. Outside of caring for and cheering on Karrer student
athletes, Mike likes to spend his free time fishing or hiking.

Thomas Hospel, MD
Dr. Hospel is the head team physician for Dublin Karrer Middle School and sits on
the Joint Commission Sports Medicine and Science Ohio High School Athletic
Association. He is also the team physician for the Columbus Crew. He also serves
as a medical adviser for the PGA Tour and LPGA tour.
